Phones Better than the Samsung Galaxy S9 plus

There are so many Phones in the world right now, this also means that there are so much high Quality technology phones with High Grade Specifications ranging from the Apple company, Samsung, Sony, Huawei, Motorola, Blackberry, Lenovo, LG, Infinix, Techno many but a few. These companies have proved how fast technology grows in little or no time.

Here are a few phones in the first quarter in 2018 that proves better than the Samsung latest Beast Galaxy S9 plus.

1. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium Sony Latest Beast was announced by the Sony Company in April 2018 about the phones lunch and the specifications coming along with this device is a must get as its ready to compete along the Samsung Latest Beast S9 and S9+. These device is coming with a High class performance and outstanding specs.

Definitely the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium comes with the best screen at 760 ppi density to the Galaxy S9+ 529 ppi density. Nice job done by the Sony company.

I wonder who wants phone these days and still like to stay close to a socket to charge the device every time! Phone companies have put these juice capacities into good practice, but it seems some phone companies aren't bothered about the juice, they just give you specs. The Sony Xperia XZ2 comes with a Non-removable Li-Ion 3540 mAh battery a little higher than the Samsung S9+ Non-removable Li-Ion 3500 mAh battery, there should be a little or no difference to users usage except the 50mAh battery difference in bettery life. Despite the fact that Sony Xperia XZ2 came in with the latest quick charge 3.0 technology leaving the samsung galaxy behind with the 2.0 quick charge 2.0 technology. Its Amazing that the Sony company took charge here again..LOL

Talking about Camera people have given up cameras to the the professionals due to phones with high end quality shoot, The XZ2 premium is packed in with a Dual 19MP camera (f/1.8, 25mm, 1/2.3", 1.22µm) + 12 MP B/W (f/1.6, 1/2.3", 1.55µm)offering the world's first 4K HDR video recording. . Clearly the beast beats the S9+ Dual: 12 MP (f/1.5-2.4, 26mm, 1/2.55", 1.4µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 12MP (f/2.4, 52mm, 1/3.6", 1µm, AF). Processing Speed of both phones are alike as Both the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Sony Xperia XZ2 come with Android 8 Oreo out of the box, so you'll have the latest features from Google on your phone. 

And in terms of power, both phones are running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB of RAM (in the US), but elsewhere Samsung has imbued its phones with its own Exynos 9810 CPU - and historically the Exynos have been a touch quicker, although we still need to test that. But in short, both phones will be largely as quick as one another, no matter what happens. In terms of new features, the Samsung's AR Emojis build an animated version of you, where Sony's handset can scan your head and create a 3D model that will scare the very life out of your friends / make a lovely gift as a bauble at Christmas.

They both have an IP68 certified - dust/water proof (up to 1.5m for 30 mins) except for the Sony Xperia XZ2 that comes with an extra IP65 certified rating. They both also have NFC(Near Field Communication).

2. Huawei P20 Pro

Huawei, one of the Chinese leading phone companies have released their high end spec phone, they released the Huawei Mate 10 Pro but let's take a close look at the Huawei P20 pro as it comes with outstanding specs. The battle between specs cannot stop and the advantages are for the users. Here are the specs for the Huawei P20 Pro against the Samsung Galaxy S9 plus.

The Hawei was released April 2018, coming in a 6.1 inch display of 1080 x 2240 pixels, 18.7:9 ratio 408 ppi density which when compared against the Super AMOLED screen of1440 x 2960 pixels, 18.5:9 ratio display of the Galaxy S9 plus, the galaxy S9 plus appears sharper and clearer in display. The Huawei has definitely given a compensation as the P20 pro best comes in a 4000mAh Non-removable battery compared to the Galaxy S9 plus 3500mAh Non-removable battery. The samsung Galaxy S9 plus is definitely no match for the Huawei P20 Pro as it offers more juice to keep your apps and games running for about two days without charge. Thats definitely a big upgrade for a top notch phone.

Again the Huawei has proved their worth as they packed a tripple lens for the Huawei P20 with a camera of 40 MP (f/1.8, 27mm, 1/1.7") + 20 MP B/W (f/1.6, 27mm) + 8 MP (f/2.4, 80mm) and the 3x Optical zoom leaving the Samsung galaxy behind with the dual 12 MP (f/1.5-2.4, 26mm, 1/2.55", 1.4µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 12MP (f/2.4, 52mm, 1/3.6", 1µm, AF) and the 2x optical zoom, samsung has to up their games if they want to stay alive in this battle for specs . The Huawei beast also comes with a 24 MP selfie shooter which clearly is better than the Samsung galaxy S9 plus 8 MP slefie shooter It is lucid that the Huawei beast is no match for the Samsung galaxy S9 plus in terms of camera both in low light and day time.

The processing speed on the Huawei P20 Pro Octa-core (4x2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) is slower than the Galaxy S9 plus Octa-core (4x2.7 GHz Mongoose M3 & 4x1.7 GHz Cortex-A55). The Huawei P20 Pro should have done better here. It comes with a 6GB ram like the Samsung galaxy s9 plus. And of course the Huawei P20 Pro is IP67 certified still water and dust resistant like the galaxy s9 plus IP68 rating of dust and water resistant.
